Offer a shoulder to cry on

Wipe away all of my tears

Have my hands in your clutch

Wounds would heal feeling your touch

Relieve me from this endless pain

Burning me down deep inside

In you I wish to abide

To let the sorrows within me drain

If only you could console

And breathe life into my dying soul

I shall be rescued

With lost hopes standing renewed

An aching heart can’t take it anymore,

It has suffered far too much to endure

You are both my affliction and my cure,

Don’t you hear me implore?
